Prosper was founded on the realisation that the expertise we provided to Gareth Morgan’s family office would be of value to other family offices and high-net-worth investors. We identified a gap in the market for custom advice, portfolio construction focused on after-tax returns, and a level of service unrestrained by the limitations of a larger corporate structure.

Prosper offers two services: a Market Access and Transaction Execution service (MATES) and a Discretionary Investment Management service (DIMS).

MATES suits clients with their own investment capability but who need a partner to implement their strategy. Think of us as a fractional family office, providing access to institutional-grade services without the cost or complexity of running your own full family office team.

DIMS is for clients who prefer to leave the day-to-day investment decisions to Prosper. We work with you to understand your investment objectives, income requirements and risk tolerances, then manage your portfolio within the agreed mandate.

Our service is open to New Zealand residents who are wholesale investors with at least $5m of investable assets.
